As Bruno Mars sang, “Her eyes, her eyes, make the stars look like they’re not shining,” Randy couldn’t help but think of all the people who really felt that way. How can someone be so blinded as to think that eyes can be compared to the stars? Even worse, how can someone compare the stars to eyes? Stars that can’t even shine without the sun, stars that only come out during the night, stars that one can find in the sky anywhere in the world, stars that can barely be seen with all the city lights, stars that seem too far away to touch.  How can stars be compared to the eyes? Eyes that need no sun to shine, eyes that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, eyes that shine night and day, eyes that no light can make seem dull, eyes that are always warm and welcoming. How can eyes be compared to stars?
